Training

You've decided to help. Great. Now it's time to learn.
We want you to be able to do your job well so we'll tell you everything you need to know. The extent of your training will vary, depending on what volunteer opportunity you've chosen.

Senior and Early Awareness Advisors

You will undergo comprehensive training to learn how to counsel students about college admission and financial aid. You'll also have the opportunity to meet the high school guidance counselor with whom you will be working. Training is given each year for new and returning volunteers.

Financial Aid Advisor

You will need to attend one 3-hour training session held one evening in February to learn how to help students with the financial aid process.
