4 Ways To Volunteer
Senior Advisor
This position requires the most time of all the volunteer opportunities, but also promises to be the most rewarding.
Work one-on-one with 12th-graders once a week for an entire school year to prepare them for college. Assist with the college admissions and financial aid process and serve as a mentor.

Early Awareness Advisor
This position is similar to that of the Senior
Advisor, but has a more flexible time commitment.

Motivate and encourage 9th to 11th-graders to attend college through college-awareness activities half a day per week or a full school day every other week.

Financial Aid Advisor
This is the perfect opportunity for almost anyone, with a time commitment of 3-6 evenings in January and February, 1-3 hours/evening.
Assist 12th-graders and their parents in completing financial aid forms during evening February workshops.

Newshawker
Assist with a fundraising project; requires a minimal time commitment.
If working one-on-one is not your style, help sell our Special Edition newspaper during lunchtime to raise money for college grants. Other volunteer opportunities for the annual newspaper sale include writing stories and general assistance.
