Get Involved
Focus on activities that demonstrate initiative, creativity, committment and leadership. As you get older, consider taking on leadership roles within these groups. Being involved builds your resume and your chances of being accepted at your top choice schools. It will also help better your chances for receiving scholarships. Join school clubs and activities like:
- Sports
- School Clubs & Academic Honor Societies
- Student Government
- Drama/Theatre
- Choir
- Church groups
- Boy/Girl Scouts
