That's our promise to all Columbus City Schools students. I Know I Can believes that every Columbus City Schools student deserves the opportunity to achieve their dream of earning a college education. And we're here to help.
From elementary school through college, I Know I Can College Advisors and volunteers encourage students to dream big and work hard. As one of the largest and most successful college access programs in the country, we provide the inspiration to ignite ambition, the advice to excel and the financial support and guidance to enable students to earn a college degree.

I Know I Can Pre-Enrollment Workshops for Columbus State Students
CCS Graduates Only: Don't miss this important workshop designed to help you learn more about what you will experience this fall when you take your first steps onto your college campus. Get prepared with I Know I Can to set yourself up for success your freshman year!
Also, all students who attend will receive a $25 gift card!

I Know I Can Grant
Apps are ready and available for you to submit for the I Know I Can Grant. Deadline is APRIL 26th, 2013. Click Here for further details on how you could receive this $1,200 grant for your college costs!

CCS Students: Upcoming Opportunities for you!
Columbus Leadership Academy: The Central Ohio Leadership Academy (COLA), established in 2011, is the only comprehensive leadership development experience for rising high school seniors in central Ohio.
Alexa Canady Conference: The Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. would like to invite you to be a part of the 2013 “Candady Conference for Future Doctors and Dentists”. The purpose of the conference is to inspire young women to pursue the highest levels of academic achievement, service, advocacy and leadership in a dental/medical field.
OSU 1-Day Nursing Camp: This camp, for rising seniors and college freshmen, will give students a special opportunity to learn hands on about a nursing career and OSU's undergraduate nursing program. Friday, July 19th from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Registration is due to July 12.

Are you interested in becoming an eye doctor?
The Ohio State University of Optometry invites you to attend their Increasing Diversity in Optometric Careers summer program to get a kick-start on your career! Duringthe program, participants shadow optometry students and local doctors, learnthe fundamentals of the eye and vision, and gain a better understanding of theimportance of diversity in health care. Save Smart IDA Programs
Save Smart, a joint effort between ECDI and I Know I Can, is a program designed to help qualified Columbus City Schools students and graduates grow and leverage their college savings. A participant enrolls in the program by setting up an Individual Development Account (IDA) and is eligible to earn up to $4 for every $1 saved.
The program is available for current high school juniors, seniors and current college students for Save Smart Sr and current 8th, & 9th and 10th grade families for Save Smart Jr!! Click Here to learn more.
